W Hamond has been featured in a guide to shopping in North Yorkshire by Raven Hall Country House Hotel.
The guide, which features the accommodation provider’s choice of the best shops in Yorkshire, highlighted the fact that we are the oldest original jet shop in the whole of Whitby and that all of our jet is locally sourced.
The guide added, “W. Hamond also has a beautiful collection of antique Whitby jet, and customers can browse through a huge range of rings, earrings, pendants necklaces, brooches, watches and lots, lots more.
“This famous shop is certainly worth a visit.'
Hamond’s renowned workshop, where all our jewellery is made, is also mentioned, alongside our upstairs tearoom.
The guide features a number of other shops from around North Yorkshire and even includes some nationwide stores that are located in other parts of the county, such as Harvey Nichols and Demijohn.
