Jewellery Cleaning
W Hamond has a fully equipped workshop situated in its Whitby boutique, we provide a variety of repairs and services to help keep your jewellery as beautiful as the day it was purchased.
Our trained and qualified jewellers will be able to examine your jewellery to ensure it’s looking beautiful. Most jewellery can be cleaned at home, we recommend using a Whitby Jet polishing cloth regularly to help prevent tarnish, and remove any products or grease that maybe on the surface, these are available to purchase in each of our Boutiques.
Although sometimes a delicate item or gemstone might require specialist cleaning to avoid damage, we recommend that you schedule an annual clean at your nearest boutique, where our jewellers will also look out for any signs of wear and tear. and suggest essential repairs that maybe required to prevent any future problems.
Alterations and Repairs
We are able to alter any jewellery or watches to ensure you get the very best out of your jewellery & watches. We also offer free of charge ring sizing and watch strap alterations on all new purchases once you have picked out the perfect item to suit you.

Watch Services and Repairs
Through our W Hamond Boutique at Leeds, where our Luxury Watch boutique is located, we can provide complete watch servicing. Every watch and brand is individual and unique, but our experienced watch specialists who are highly skilled representing W Hamond/Jura Watches will be on hand to help you bring it back to life. Each watch needs regular maintenance and servicing to maintain its function, appearance and value, this varies depending on each brand, our specialist team are on hand to advise you with any enquiries you may have.
Engraving
W Hamond offer a personal engraving service allowing you to make that extra special touch to your most treasured items of jewellery that will last forever. We can engrave your personal message or an image for a loved one onto an item of jewellery, watches and giftware, making each piece individual and sentimental to the owner.
