The case is also fitted with a new bronze barrel inspired by the coating used on cockpit canopies alongside classic sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment. Housed within the case and exposed through the exhibition case back, the BE-36AE automatic movement powers the hour, minute and seconds function and the newly shaped day and date window at 3 o clock which has now been designed to reflect the view on an altimeter.
