Kawamura provides artworks and graphics for numerous clothing brands and advertisements. Other areas of his work covers a wide range of field such as designing flyers for concerts and events, DVD and CD jackets, book covers,etc. As a collage artist, he has collaborated with various artists and has held solo exhibitions in Japan and around the world, as well as participated in many group shows. His notable works include the main visuals for Katsuhiro Otomo’s GENGA Exhibition (2012) and also collaboration with Katsuhiro Otomo in creation of INSIDE BABEL (for Bruegel’s Tower of Babel Exhibition, 2017), now housed in the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Netherland. He collaborated with him again for an art wall exhibit in Shibuya PARCO “AD 2019” and created a collage art on the theme of Otomo’s renowned manga AKIRA.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith the SKX design as the base, Kawamura has referred to SEIKO’s design archives from the 60s to 70s to select their notable elements and put them together into a single watch design as a collage.
