Spring has crept out from behind the clouds, the daffodils are blooming, and we have officially began the 1 month count down until this year's Tour De Yorkshire!
The competition has 3 stages, the first of which begins in just 31 days. Starting from Bridlington and riding to Scarborough - The LONG w
ay! This stage sets off in the seaside town of Bridlington, and heads North to Flamborough. If you know the East Coast, that's definitely the direction you want to be following, however, of course it's not that easy. Rather than carrying on North through Filey and approaching Scarborough from the South, the route then takes you West, passing through Humanby, up towards East Ayton, and then even further West out towards Dalby Forest, tackling long stretches of hilly moors as they go. The route passes through villages such as Thorton Le Dale, Pickering and Danby before beginning the long, and probably much welcomed descent into our sunny town of Whitby, where you bet we will be cheering them on!
