For 2021, Bell & Ross have expanded their iconic diver’s BR 02-93 collection with the release of a new cherry-red and bronze limited edition. Housing all the fundamental features of a diving instrument, the 99-piece Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze Limited Edition delivers a reliable, accurate and highly legible tool deserving of underwater exploration and worthy of the Swiss watch manufacturer’s impressive reputation.
Unlike anything we’ve seen before, the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze watch delivers an unmissable combination of CuSn8 bronze, a cherry-red lacquered dial, rose gold indexes and a warm brown leather strap. Together, these characteristics work in perfect harmony and deliver a divers watch like no other. It’s 42mm bronze case in particular is a marvel in itself, engineered from an alloy that is 92% of copper and 8% tin. This material not only ensures incredible corrosion resistance, but it develops a naturally occurring patina over time when it reacts to moisture in the skin and oxygen in the air. At the end of the day, there will be 999 pieces of the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze Limited Edition completely bespoke to its wearer.
Following closely behind as the star of the show is the red lacquered dial. It’s cherry-red colour pairs effortlessly with the matching red aluminium ring bezel and promises optimal legibility in all lighting conditions thanks to the Superluminova applique indices and Superluminova gilded metal skeletonised hands at the centre. Powering the central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and small date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock is the BR-CAL.302 automatic winding movement. The Swiss made calibre, alongside its 25 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per hour also offers a 38 hour power reserve.
As with all Bell & Ross’ dive watches, their strive for excellence and innovation is approved by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry and their ISO 6425 diving standards. This guarantees the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze Limited Edition has a water resistant rating of 300 metres. It’s use for diving is also assured by a screw down crown, closed case back and unidirectional red aluminium bezel. The bezel is adorned with a 60 minute scale and a luminous marker at 12 o’clock for measuring elapsed dive times. The 42mm bronze case is completed by scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass which delivers instantly legibility of the luminous dial beneath.
