Designed alongside brand ambassadors and ex Special Forces Operators Jason Fox and Aldo Kane, the new Bremont Supermarine S502 Jet watch encourages high-risk military night operations with its anti-reflective black DLC treated stainless steel case.
Launched yesterday as part of Bremont’s 2022 Townhouse event, the new Bremont Supermarine S502 Jet watch is designed to be a tough, reliable timepiece with a focus on survival. The British watch manufacturer has worked with extreme adventurers and explorers for several years now, with many sporting a Bremont watch on their wrist during their escapades. Jason Fox and Aldo Kane are two of the brand’s current ambassadors who have tested the new Bremont Supermarine S502 Jet watch themselves to prove its resilience. Offering essential cover and security during the night, the release features a 43mm stainless steel case coated with a black DLC treatment. As with all Bremont’s ‘Jet’ watches, the case is then paired with a matching black dial and a choice of black rubber or black leather strap.

As part of the Bremont Supermarine collection, the S502 Jet watch assures just as much vital functionality for use in the water as on land. In particular, the 43mm men’s watch features a unidirectional bezel fitted with a scratch resistant ceramic insert. For legibility under the water, the 60 minute scale is infilled with blue emission Superluminova and secured beside a layer of sapphire crystal glass. On the underside of the watch, we’re also welcomed to a protective patented antishock movement mount for ultimate durability as well as an automatic helium escape valve and crown protector, together assisting in a whopping 500 metre water resistance.
At the centre, the Bremont S502 Jet watch features a black metal dial offering extreme levels of legibility with Superluminova applied indexes, nickel plated hands with vintage Superluminova and a glow in the dark GMT hand contrasting against the dark centrepiece with a burnt orange finish. Powering each of these complications and the date window 3 o’clock is the modified automatic winding Calibre BE-93-2AV. Like so many of Bremont’s movements, it is COSC certified and features a Nivaflex mainspring, Glucydur balance wheel and Anachron balance spring and promises a power reserve of 42 hours and a frequency of 28,800vph.
