It’s hard to miss with its vivid orange dial that makes a statement beneath the waves and above the surface. Making quite a splash this year in the watchmaking industry, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH Limited Edition is a loyal reinterpretation of the 1969 legend. Followed closely was the stainless steel version that is more accessible at 300 pieces yet just as impressive.
Orange is definitely the new black when it comes to Doxa. Testing every colour imaginable, bright orange was victorious becoming the signature shade of the Swiss luxury brand. With its semi-matte finish and SuperLuminova filled hands and batons, the limited edition is highly legible when discovering the deep blue. The retro aesthetic nods to its predecessor focusing on functionality where minutes and seconds count when diving into the unknown. For this reason, the minute and second hands are prominent on the dial for optimal readability.
It goes without saying that safety is vital on every dive. The unidirectional rotating bezel of the limited edition provides the dial time in minutes as well as the depth in metres. The perfect way for the diver to make calculations without decompression stops. Doxa focuses on practicality and function making sure the limited edition is useful on every dive.
Fully equipped for exploring the unknown, the SUB 200 T.GRAPH Limited Edition is designed for life beneath the waves. Diving safely to 200m, the scratch resistant sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating ensures that the dial is easy to read at each opportunity. Thinking of every detail, slip on over your wetsuit sleeve with the help of the folding clasp complete with diving extension. The famous Doxa “grains of rice” bracelet adds a distinctive edge again inspired by the sixties adding a retro touch.
Powered by the historical 7734 VALJOUX movement that was originally designed thirty years ago nods to Doxa’s legacy in the diving world. Of course, the movement has been carefully preserved to guarantee reliability and precision in the deep blue.
