We Are Whitby have organised Whitby’s second Christmas Market and are also co-ordinating late night Christmas shopping across Whitby in order to promote the town centre as a destination for residents and visitors alike and to encourage the community to shop with local independent traders for Christmas.

Whitby’s  Christmas Market will take place on Endeavour Wharf. The market will be made up of Whitby’s iconic beach huts, creating a novel surrounding for the market itself. 

The market itself is made up from independent traders, artists, craftsmen, hot and cold food stalls and obviously, a bar selling mulled wine.

We Are Whitby, the organisers, 'hope that the event will highlight the fantastic range of independent traders we have in Whitby and that residents and visitors will be encouraged to do their Christmas Shopping here in Whitby rather than heading out of town.'

The organisers 'are delighted with the enthusiasm for the initiative and the feeling from the community that they really want to shop locally and support their town centre and we are thrilled at the number and variety of shops right across town that have committed to staying open late and joining in with the initiative.'

W Hamond are extremely pleased to be involved with this years Christmas Market, and cannot wait to join in the local fun!
