Suitably dressed in white for the winter months, the new SevenFriday P3C/07 White Carbon watch follows in the footsteps of its red carbon predecessor with a motor-sport inspired design that instantly incites a need for speed. While the original SevenFriday P3C/04 Red Carbon watch got your heart pumping with its red and black aesthetic, the P3C/07 White Carbon will make your heart go still with an icy-cold architecture born for the racetrack.
Whether it’s the chequered flags that signal the winning car crossing the finish line or the striped curb that keeps the cars on course, the striking contrast of black and white has become synonymous with the world of motorsport. The monochromatic colourway looks extra spectacular on the new SevenFriday P3C/07 White Carbon watch which with its oversized 47.6mm by 47mm case and genuine lightweight black carbon fibre bezel and animation ring has been designed especially to be your companion on the road.
The rounded case of the SevenFriday P3C/07 White Carbon watch instantly evokes the smooth and ergonomic shapes of the race cars that inspire it while the complex layered dial is almost like looking beneath the hood and into the engine. The black PVD case is uniquely detailed with several different finishes including polishing, brushed and sandblasted for a masculine look while fitted to the right hand side is a screw down crown engraved with the “7F” signature in white lacquer. The crown also assists in a healthy water resistant rating of 100 metres.
Housed beneath K1 hardened mineral glass, a 4-layered skeletonised dial continues the motorsport-inspired design with a black centrepiece face with stamped pattern, white printed relief highlights and a sunray-brushed gunmetal colour dial ring detailed with a 40 to 60 minute zone in white. White luminous coating is found on the applied indexes at 12, 4 and 8 hours and on the central hands for hours and minutes. The black dial also features an arch plate with numerals at 12 and 2 made from genuine carbon fibre to pair with the matching animation ring.
Powering the many complications on the SevenFriday P3C/07 White Carbon watch is the Miyota 82S7 automatic winding movement, a Japanese built calibre with a 40 hour power reserve and a wonderfully visible balance wheel seen through the dial at 7 o’clock. The movement also delivers central hands for hours and minutes, an off-centred seconds dial at 4 o’ clock and a 24 hour indicator at 9 o’ clock.
Just like the SevenFriday P3C/04 Red Carbon, the P3C/07 White Carbon features a unique strap engineered from genuine competition strength sea belt material. This material not only promises the best in durability and robustness but delivers a handsome finish to the piece. The strap incorporates the seat belt material in white paired with comfortable black calfskin semi-matt leather, matching black stitching and the stamped SevenFriday black UV logo. The strap is finished by a black PVD stainless steel pin buckle.
