British watchmaker Bremont has arrived with two incredible new releases for 2023. The first is the Bremont WR-45 Williams watch, a limited edition of 244 pieces created in celebration of three years of partnership between Bremont and the British F1 team Williams Racing. The second is the Bremont Jaguar C-Type watch which honours the British car manufacturer’s model of the same name with a timeless black DLC coated case and black dial.
The Bremont WR-45 Williams Chronograph Watch
Honouring the three year-long partnership between Bremont and Williams Racing team, the duo have combined forces to launch the new Bremont WR-45 Williams Chronograph Limited Edition. The design is the embodiment of a sports chronograph, offering a contemporary stainless steel case measuring to 43mm wide and 16mm wide. It has a black DLC coating across its entire architecture for a contemporary look including a black aluminium bi-directional rotating bezel, black DLC screw in crown and a black DLC pin buckle for securing the Alcantara strap to the wrist.
The all-black theme of the Bremont WR-45 watch continues onto the dial which features a black metal display with two black counters for the 30 minutes and 12 hours at 3 and 6 o’clock respectively. A small seconds sits at 9 o’clock in bright white, offering exceptional legibility alongside the Superluminova hands and hour markers. A few subtle touches of colour are added to the dial including flecks of electric blue inspired by the Williams Racing livery. Powering the Bremont WR-45 Williams watch is the automatic winding Calibre BE-53AV with a power reserve of 56 hours.
The Bremont Jaguar C-Type Watch
Another racing-inspired chronograph, the Bremont Jaguar C-Type watch has been created to mark the 70th anniversary of Duncan Hamilton's legendary victory at the 1953 Le Mans race. It captures the essence of its car counterpart through its 43mm stainless steel case with a PVD treated case middle, tachymeter bezel and screw in crown engraved with the original Jaguar heritage Dunlop tyre tread. The case back also offers a special engraving inspired by Jaguar vehicles with the ‘Growler’ hood badge placed centre stage.
For the first time, the Bremont Jaguar C-Type watch arrives with a reverse panda dial which includes a black metal backdrop and white glossy counters for the small seconds and chronograph counter. The Arabic numerals and flecks of red mimic the gauges found inside the Jaguar C-Type car while the chronograph hand evokes the shape of the needle seen on the vehicle’s tachometer. Once again, Superluminova ensures easy legibility across the display and a date window is placed at 6 o’clock. Finally, the Bremont Jaguar C-Type watch features the automatic winding Calibre BE-50AV movement with a 56 hour power reserve and a black leather racing strap closed by a stainless steel pin buckle.
