Oris Watches have been in production since 1904, when the company was founded by Paul Cattin and George Christian. Every Oris watch has always been ahead of its time, with Oris producing a famous 25-jewel automatic movement in 1966, followed up by a complication movement in 1991 which featured day date dials, a moon phase display and even a second time zone.
Modern day Oris watches embody the incredible innovation of the brand’s history, and though valuable Oris quartz watches exist from the 1980s, today’s models are only produced with top-of-the-range automatic or mechanical watch movements. Particularly sought after models include the Oris hammerhead, the Oris Big Crown, the Oris ProPilot and many more.
