Attractions as varied as the York dungeons, the Yorkshire museum, the Theatre Royal, Holgate Windmill, Castle Howard house and gardens and York’s only Cold war bunker (to mention just a few!) are opening their doors for free to residents this weekend.
It’s not just the attractions who are offering the lovely residents of York a weekend for themselves, lots of restaurants are offering discounted food and free drinks.
