The Bremont ENG300 manufacture movement finds itself placed within its first line of core offerings, a selection of 40mm men’s watches all aesthetically different from the last. Meet the new Bremont Supernova, Bremont Fury and Bremont Audley watches…
Last year, with the launch of the Bremont Longitude Limited Edition, Bremont made history with its ENG300 movement series. For the first time in over 50 years, a British made mechanical movement had been built at scale on British shores. Their first in-house movement was carefully designed, developed and manufactured in their “The Wing” facility in Henley-upon-Thames and with it, a new testing standard was developed to ensure its reliability and accuracy. Named the Bremont H1 Timing Standard, the test is directly comparable to the ISO3159:2009 Chronometer test with a few exciting additions on top. One of these is that each Bremont ENG300 movement is placed within a concept case and tested in line with the ejection seats manufactured by Martin Baker. Now these highly tested movements make their way into seven new Bremont watches.

Bremont Supernova Watches
The most significant launch in Bremont’s line-up of H1 Generation timepieces is the Bremont Supernova. It reveals Bremont’s first true integrated bracelet watch, taking the British brand’s iconic Trip-Tick case construction and combining it with new angular lines and a bold t-link strap. According to Bremont, the 40mm stainless steel case and integrated bracelet took three years to develop and it’s safe to say the results are breathtaking. There are three Bremont Supernova watches to choose from, one in Midnight Blue, another in Pitch Black and a final piece in Albus White. Each has a coloured dial in the shade of its name, electing either Arabic numerals or baton indexes, a sunken big date and sword-shaped hands. There’s also a unique power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock offering a 65 hour reserve. This is of course powered by one of the Bremont ENG300 movements, the ENG375 calibre to be exact, which is nicely showcased through the exhibition case back.
Bremont Fury Watches
Anyone remotely familiar with Bremont will know they have a fondness for aviation. Their collections of pilot’s watches are some of the most popular of their kind in the industry and as expected, their ENG300 movement is placed within its own core collection pilot’s watch. The Bremont Fury takes its name from the 1930’s Hawker Fury and the 1940’s WW2 Hawker Sea Fury aircrafts all while reviving design traits from the era including a large knurled crown at 3 o’clock, vintage numerals and round stepped bezels. The Bremont Fury watches are engineered from stainless steel, measuring to 40mm and come equipped with sapphire crystal glass and a water resistance of 100 metres. The ENG365 movement delivers another power reserve indicator on the dial of 65 hours, again presented through an exhibition case back and protected within a scratch resistant PVD treated case barrel in black or blue to match with the two Superluminova-decorated dial colours available.
Bremont Audley Watches
Lastly, the same ENG365 automatic winding movement as seen in the Bremont Fury powers a duo of stunning dress watches called the Bremont Audley. These watches take their name from Bremont’s first Flagship boutique in Mayfair, London and like the boutique itself, the watches exude a sense of pure sophistication and elegance. The 40mm men’s dress watches boast pure, understated cases in a choice of stainless steel or 18 carat gold adorned with fixed, stepped bezels, curved lugs and crocodile embossed chocolate brown leather straps. At the centre, a silver sunray metal dial elects fluted indexes and tapered hands engineered from nickel or gold plating to match the case material. The classical elegance of a time-only dial is interrupted by a power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock. The Bremont Audley watches also showcase a recessed date window at 3 o’clock powered by Bremont ENG365 movement once again proudly put on display through the case back. Like all the ENG300 movements, decoration includes rhodium-plated bridges with a gold-plated automatic bridge and a rhodium-plated openwork Bremont decorated rotor.
