Exploring Damiani Jewellery

Jewellery & Watch News

W Hamond is proud to announce we are now official retailers of Damiani jewellery. The fine Italian jewellery brand was founded in 1924 in the heart of the goldsmith district of Valenza Po by master goldsmith Enrico Damiani. His passions and talents were quickly recognised in the region and before long, he became renowned around the country for his diamond jewellery creations. Now into its third generation, the family owned Maison continues to utilize age-old techniques and the attention to detail of expert master goldsmiths to create breathtaking collections of Damiani jewellery, each design carefully handcrafted for the bodies of contemporary men and women.

The history of Damiani jewellery is that of an Italian family strongly tied to tradition and passion for goldsmith art. Our family has designed and produced precious and unique jewellery for three generations. From our early childhoods, we watched jewellery being created and the crafting of diamonds and precious stones, learning to love a profession and its secrets even before we started to work in the company.” - Guido Damiani

As official stockists of Damiani jewellery, we thought it only right to give the Italian jewellery brand a proper introduction. Here we’ll be exploring some of the most important Damiani jewellery collections and some of our personal favourite 18ct gold and diamond necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets. In the meantime, if you have any questions, you can always contact our team of fine jewellery specialists on 01947 603330 or at info@whamond.com.

The Damiani Belle Epoque Jewellery Collection

Starting us off is the Art-Deco inspired Damiani Belle Epoque jewellery collection, a series of rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings designed to embody the world of cinema. Through alternating baguette-cut diamonds and choices of rubies, emeralds and sapphires, the designs recreate film strips where each frame captures a single moment. The styling is undeniably unique and wearing any of the Damiani Belle Epoque jewellery pieces makes you feel as iconic as the directors, painters and actresses that inspire them. As part of the Maison’s anniversary, we saw the launch of a unique limited edition Rainbow Cross necklace in this collection boasting colourful princess cut sapphires set into a solid rose gold frame.

The Damiani Eden Jewellery Collection

The story of Adam and Eve is one of seduction, temptation and excitement, the very same emotions instilled in the Damiani Eden jewellery collection. The motif of a snake defines the entire series with seductive shapes that entwine around the body, naturally attracting lovers of beautiful jewellery. Each modern bracelet, necklace, earrings and ring expresses a sense of sexuality, particularly those of the latter which see’s 18ct gold and diamond wrap temptingly around the finger for a statement finish. You can find Damiani Eden jewellery in a variety of styles including several variations set with black or white ceramic and others dressed in dazzling pave diamonds.

The Damiani Margherita Jewellery Collection

Back in the early 1900’s, founder of Damiani jewellery, Enrico Damiani, created a special ring dedicated to Queen Margherita, the Queen of Italy. The design blended Enrico’s own love of modern style with the savoir-faire of Valenza’s master goldsmiths bringing to life a stunning daisy flower bursting with precious gemstones. In honour of that design, the Italian Maison launched their Damiani Margherita jewellery collection which see’s three versions of the daisy design: diamonds and white gold, in rose gold, brown diamonds and amethyst, and in yellow gold, diamonds and citrine quartz. The gemstones are placed together in a selection of stunning Damiani Margherita rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

The Damiani Mimosa Jewellery Collection

For a real explosion of diamonds, take a look at the Damiani Mimosa jewellery collection. This family embodies all that Damiani stands for: attention to detail, careful selection of materials and unique Italian design. Each creation features a combination of different stones, all cut and sized differently to create an unusual three-dimensional finish on the body. The Damiani Mimosa rings are some of our favourites, boasting a burst of unique diamonds set in a random fashion that twist and coil around the finger. The Damiani Mimosa necklaces are as equally stunning, offerings several heart-shaped creations dressed in a choice of sapphires or diamonds.

The Damiani Minou Jewellery Collection

Considered the fine jewellery brand’s most classic and iconic collection, Damiani Minou jewellery line celebrates the effortless beauty of the diamond. From timeless diamond rings to diamond pendants ideal for the everyday, each delicate design is recognised by its exclusive raised, six prong setting. This allows the diamond to be lifted from the 18ct gold setting to emphasise its beauty, lightness and clarity. The Damiani Minou rings have become popular as engagement rings and wedding rings, while some of the full pave Damiani Minou jewellery pieces like the tennis bracelets make the perfect finishing touch to formal evening wear.
